Fund Development Lead
You will be the liaison with Imagine Canada and all agencies providing possible funding through gifting or grant applications (CIDA). You will research which grants look possible for MHF and you will co-ordinate and track the grant application process. You will oversee volunteers who will help you with the grant applications and cover letters. You will report to the Ministro Board of Directors and submit a Fund Development Report on a monthly basis.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 16-24 hours per month

Fund Development Application Writers
(2 Positions)
You will work under the direction of the Fund Development Lead to apply for gifting opportunities or complete and mail grant applications and cover letters. You will handle the follow-up details for all such gift/grant provider applications.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 16-24 hours per month
6 Month Period - renewable
Promotions Coordinator
You will oversee the creation of, be the keeper of, and co-ordinate the presentation and set up of all audio/visual, written and display materials for MHF promotional events (like the Mission Fair at Friends Church Oct 22, 2006). You will work with the Promotions Agent to prepare a monthly Promotions Report to the Ministro Board of Directors.

Approximately 16-24 hours per month

Promotions Agent
You will seek out opportunities for MHF to promote itself and raise funds. You will liaise with organizations (ex.other churches) that agree to give MHF the opportunity to promote itself, the Promotions Coordinator and the Ministro Board of Directors. You will work with the Promotions Coordinator to prepare a monthly Promotions Report to the Ministro Board of Directors.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 16-24 hours per month

Minute Taker
You will be responsible for taking the minutes at all Ministro Board meetings and supplying the minutes to the board for review within 2 days of the meeting. You will keep a book with all approved minutes, Treasurer reports and reports from all other committees as supplied. You will sign a Confidentiality Agreement and report to the MHF Secretary.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 5 hours per month

Administrative Assistant
You will assist Board members and volunteers with correspondence, filing and research as required. You will report to the MHF Secretary.

Expense Administrator
You will be responsible for tracking all expense sheets and original receipts from MHF director activities, missions and events. You will supply expense information to the QuickBooks Administrator and report regularly to the MHF Treasurer.

Communications/Public Relations Advisor
You will write, edit and critique speeches and written materials as required (ie. handouts/website/promo materials). You will rehearse speeches with Board members before presentation events and be responsible for branding. Additional responsibilities include a monthly presentation of a Communications/Public Relations Report to the Ministro Board of Directors.

Volunteer Co-Ordinator
You will be responsible for informing and tasking Ministro's volunteers while ensuring they are not overloaded, and they are heard and appreciated. You will liaise with Volunteer Calgary, The Calgary Centre for Non-Profit Management (Centre Point) and Volunteer Canadawhile ensuring that the Board and all those working under the guidance of MHF know and adhere to the Code of Conduct for Volunteers. You will be responsible for nominating volunteers for appreciation programs sponsored by Volunteer Calgary. You will answer to and supply a Volunteer Report to the Ministro Board of Directors on a monthly basis.
